Les Kelly was kind enough to send us another photo of a project he completed using Tried & True as his wood finish of choice! He made a jewelry box for his granddaughter consisting of figured maple with walnut accents. He coated the box with three coats of our Varnish Oil to protect the wood. We highly recommend our Varnish Oil for projects like this because of its durability. The Varnish Oil contains a pine-sap resin which will harden over time to give the best protection against scratches and nicks.

“It really brings out the figured grain in the maple as you can see in the photos. I really like the ease of the “wipe on wipe off ” application of  the Tried and True products and have been very pleased with the results.”
